074. Burn Double the Calories, Eliminate Type-2 Diabetes, & Increase Lifespan By 10 Years In 40 Seconds - Ulrich Dempfle (CAROL bike)

Extremely excited to share this podcast episode with my tribe, the co-CEO, and founder of CAROL AI Bike, Ulrich Dempfle. The basis of the science behind CAROL is REHIT (Reduced Exertion High-intensity Interval Training). It’s a new, improved form of HIIT (high-intensity interval training). A typical HIIT program lasts 30 minutes and is extremely difficult for many people. But a REHIT session with CAROL session consists of two 20-second sprints, separated by a short recovery. The whole workout lasts 8 minutes and 40 seconds. Where HIIT offers high-intensity training, REHIT offers maximum intensity training. This pushes your body to new limits, making you much stronger and fitter.

Why does this matter? In multiple 8 week studies, CAROL has been shown to reduce Type 2 Diabetes by 62%, increase VO2 Max (a measure of cardiorespiratory fitness) by 12%, burn twice the amount of calories compared to traditional exercise (that would take 2 hours), and much more.
